He was the grandson of Henri-Alexandre Wallon (whose decisive contribution to the creation of the Third Republic led him to be called the "Father of the Republic"). ==Career== Henri Wallon conducted two parallel careers. As a convinced Marxist, he took up political duties while carrying out scientific work in the field of developmental psychology.
